Your first dental visit

We love to welcome new patients to our dental clinic. Here's what you can expect on your first visit to Ironwood Dental Care.

Visiting Ironwood Dental Care for the first time

We understand that it can sometimes be daunting to take that first step, especially if you haven’t visited a dentist in a while. There’s no need to worry, though – our friendly and experienced team will be on hand to put you at ease from the moment you step into our dental office.

Arriving at Ironwood Dental Care

Our clean, calm space and beautiful waterfall feature in the waiting area will immediately put you at ease as you wait for your appointment. Our experienced and dedicated reception staff will be there to answer your questions.

We also have a massage chair in the waiting area if you would like to relax before your appointment and there are refreshments available. You can even pick up a protein fruit smoothie if you haven’t had time to eat before your appointment.

What to expect from your first appointment with us

We’ll give you a tour of the dental office and explain the dental technology that we will be using during your appointment to ensure that we are offering you the very best treatment and experience.

We can also provide warm neck pillows, blankets, and paraffin hand treatments during your appointment to make you feel relaxed.

Your dentist and hygienist will then complete a thorough examination and create an oral and dental history. They may also ask you to complete a medical questionnaire. There will be plenty of time to discuss your dental concerns and what you would like to achieve through treatment.

We aim to never rush our consultations and make sure we schedule well.
